Poor Scott. Our esteemed junior senator seems to have stepped in it while talking to the press yesterday. Brown was questioned about the recent poll which shows him vulnerable to a Democratic challenge. Scott Brown’s campaign had earlier leaked a pretend poll showing a commanding lead.
Scott’s response:
There’s going to be plenty of polls. I don’t think about polls. Never been a big poll guy
That seems reasonable, I agree, there will be plenty of polls and it is still very early in the campaign. But Talking Points Memo reported Scott Brown overheard in the hallway of the Capitol:
Just walked passed Senator Brown’s office and in the hallway was the man himself, lamenting into his cell phone
I don’t understand how she can be down 20 points one week and is now up 2. What is going on?
When asked about the Talking Points Memo story Scott replied:
Excuse me, I’m all set
Ha ha ha ha, that’s just hilarious.
Politico notes that Brown’s Communications Director noted that his wife arrived and she steered him away ending his lengthy 45 second interview.

When polls represent the wonderfulness of our hard-working, pure-of-heart Senator, then they reflect truth and are to be cherished.
When polls show him down, it’s only because of either unprecedented negative campaigning by machine politicians with ties to Washington or academic pollsters who don’t understand the real world they way our Junior Senator does.
