Thanks to all who attended the gathering at my home on Sunday. I had a blast because of all of you. See my earlier post for more details as well as the notes in the Dispatch.
Elizabeth Warren’s thank you tour continues. This Saturday she is on the Cape. For details on future events, including information on the swearing in ceremony, watch this space and the Elizabeth Warren event page on her website http://tinyurl.com/ewtytour .
I was volunteering at the Mass Dems HQ this week, primarily reaching out to volunteers and asking them to become registered Democrats by the December 31 date. Alex Goldstein commented how important it is to keep the momentum moving forward. His comment was that when we take a break, we lose. We don’t know what the future will bring, but we need to keep reaching out and keep people involved.
Caucus booklets are in the mail! I got mine on Wednesday, hot off the presses when I was in the office. Others should be arriving soon. If there has been transition in the leadership of your town or ward committee, please work with your leaders to be sure that the new chair has the information. The current chair should contact the MDP if he or she doesn’t receive a caucus booklet in the next week or so.
Event this week includes the Governor’s Annual Holiday Gala on Tuesday. Michelle Wu has a Meet and Greet. Holiday parties coming up include Cambridge Dems, Mansfield Dems Dennis Dems/CIDC, Wayland Dems, Duxbury Dems, Natick Dems, Springfield Ward Four, Springfield Ward Seven, Stoughton Dems, Sandwich Dems, North Shore Young Dems and the Worcester Democratic City Committee Holiday Party, Toy Drive, and Awards Ceremony.
My holiday party report and details on all these events are in Dongaghue’s Democratic Dispatch.
Democratically yours,
Kate Donaghue
