March 13, 2011 By thurman-hart 3 Comments

I think this is a very important development because it shows that the ossified GOP leadership is being heaved to the side. In its place will rise a new leadership that is connected and beholden to the Tea Party. The elevation of Scott … [Read more...]

Yikes.

Adam Bass@AdamBassWCCS

The idea of a Pro Life Trump supporter winning Suffolk 19 is not out of the ordinary. Winthrop is particular is much more right leaning that Revere. And Revere got severely out voted. When Capobianco had his story, that left you with two progressives. #mapoli

.@CDCgov dir. @RWalensky, once part of MA's #COVID19 advsy board, said

"Now is not the time to relax the critical safeguards that we know can stop the spread of COVID-19 ... not when we are so close."

But @MassGovernor pushes to reopen.

Who is advising Gov. Baker now?

It's time to state outright that Charlie Baker's science advisory team is the Chamber of Commerce. That's why we were slow to act last year, why our public health network got ignored on vaccines & why our reopenings have flown in the face of data, expert advice & common sense. https://twitter.com/MikeConnollyMA/status/1366423893276303364

Just reiterating my COVID philosophy: Instead of bucking advice from the CDC and Dr. Fauci (by further reopening the Mass. economy), we should #TaxTheRich and use the new revenue to provide cash relief to people in need and small businesses while also investing in health equity.
